Introduction
Tradenames: Phenergan VC, Phenerzine VC.
Indications
- temporary relief of upper respiratory tract symptoms associated with allergy
- temporary relief of cold symptoms
Contraindications
Dosage
- adults & children > 12 years of age:
- children 6-12 years: 2.5-5 mL every 4-6 hours PRN
- children 2-6 years: 1.25-2.5 mL every 4-6 hours PRN
Liquid: promethazine HCl 6.25 mg & phenylephrine HCl 5 mg/5 mL (120 mL, 240 mL)
