Introduction

Topical erythromycin 30 mg plus benzoyl peroxide 50 mg/g.

Indications

topical control of acne Apply BID-QHS.

Adverse effects

• not common (1-10%)
  • erythema, desquamation, dryness, pruritus, oily skin, burning sensation, tenderness, eye irritation

Drug interactions

• avoid concurrent use of desquamating or abrasive agents

• drug interaction(s) of calcium channel blockers with erythromycin
