Etiology
Clinical manifestations
- symptoms are known or likely to be caused by hypoglycemia
- cholinergic symptoms
- adrenergic symptoms
- anxiety
- tachycardia
- tremulousness
- neurologic symptoms
- headache
- behavioral changes (combativeness, agitation)
- a low serum glucose measured at the time of symptoms
- relief of symptoms when the glucose is raised to normal
