Indications

• treatment of hypertension

Contraindications

-anuria

• not recommended during pregnancy

Dosage

• start 40/12.5 mg PO QD
• max dosel 40/25 mg PO QD

Adverse effects

• most common: dizziness, fatigue
• hypokalemia, hyperuricemia
• see azilsartan &/or chlorthalidone

Mechanism of action

• combines ARB with thiazied diuretic
