- hearing loss
- assessment of the central auditory nervous system, especially involvement of the temporal lobe[2]
- used in conjunction with auditory event-related potentials
Procedure
- a test of central auditory pathway integrity in which spondaic words are presented dichotically
- includes word pairs that are out of date
