Classification

  • an infant is 1-12 months of age
  • a newborn is 0-1 month of age
  • a child is 1-18 years of age

Epidemiology

  • infants who room-share through age 9 months have shorter sleep duration and are more likely to bed-share[5]

Management

* iron supplementation during pregnancy does not enhance motor development
