- infants who room-share through age 9 months have shorter sleep duration and are more likely to bed-share[5]
Management
- iron supplementation in the 1st year of life* is enhances motor development at 9 months of age[3]
- fruit juice offers no nutritional benefit for infants[4]
* iron supplementation during pregnancy does not enhance motor development
