Introduction
Several small inconstant nodes (proximal, intermediate & distal) deep to the fascia lata & medial to the femoral vein.
- receive lymph from the deep structures of the lower limb, from the glans penis & from superficial inguinal nodes
- efferents pass to the external iliac nodes
