Introduction

Compact, white fiber bundle which allows the hippocampus connectivity to the contralateral hippocampus & to the septum, anterior nucleus of the thalamus & mammillary bodies.

The fibers arise from pyramidal cells of the cornu ammonis (Ammon horn).
