Structure
- Clarke's column is a long column of cells located just dorsolateral to the central canal in the medial part of the spinal cord of the T1-L2 levels
- it is largest in the lower thoracic & upper lumbar regions
Afferents
- inputs are largely from muscle spindles.
Efferents
- neurons of Clarke's column project to nucleus Z & to the cerebellum via the dorsal spinocerebellar tract
