Pathology
- same as lentigo simplex
- increased numbers of melanocytes
Clinical manifestations
- light-brown pigmented macule
- size: a few cm to > 15 cm
- many dark brown macules or papules (2-3 mm) scattered througout pigmented background
Complications
rarely malignant melanoma arises from nevus spilus
