Introduction

Slowly proliferating precursor to plasma cells formed in lymph nodes with migration to bone marrow. After entry into the bone marrow, plasmablasts stop proliferating & differentiate into plasma cells under the influence of adhesion molecules & cytokines. CD19-, CD56+, CD38+, syndecan-1+.
