Tradename: Oragrafin. (sodium ipodate)
Indications
diagnostic aid in oral cholecystography
Dosage
- oral: 3 g
- give with the least amount of water possible
Capsules: 500 mg.
Adverse effects
- not common (1-10%)
- headache, urticaria, rash, nausea/vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, bitter taste, dysuria, decreased urine output, thrombocytopenia, anaphylactoid reaction, severe sickness
