Indications
- pediculosis (lice)
- drug of choice for failure of permethrin treatment
Dosage
0.5% topical lotion
Adverse effects
- probable carcinogen[2][3]
- unlikely to cause cancer through dietary exposure[5]
Notes
Caution: malathion lotion is flammable!
