Epidemiology

  • transmitted from person to person[3]
  • rarely spread from environmental surfaces

Pathology

Management

* Blood containing Bactrim ingested by lice inhibits the intestinal flora of the lice. The flora synthesize B-vitamins which the lice need for survival.
