Epidemiology
- occurs preferentially in young adults
- usually located in vault of nose, often infiltrating cribriform plate
Pathology
- tend to infiltrate adjacent structures
- may metastasize to regional lymph nodes
- histological grade III
Microscopic pathology
- nodules of neuroblasts within richly vascularized stroma
- mitoses variable
- Homer Wright rosettes infrequent
