Introduction

A 90 amino-acid repeated domain found in plasma kallikrein & coagulation factor XI. It contains 6 conserved Cys. 3 disulfide bonds link the 1st with 6th, 2nd with 5th, & 3rd with 4th Cys. The domain can be drawn in the shape of an apple (see Prosite), thus is called the 'apple domain'.
