Introduction

KXGFFKR or KXFFKR. X is either G, A, or V in KXFFKR, but may include I, L, C or M in KXGFFKR.

KXGFFKR is found in cytoplasmic domains of all integrin alpha subunits. KXFFKR is found the in DNA-binding domain of the nuclear receptor superfamily.

Calreticulin binds to this site.
