Expression

• isoforms 1, 3, 4 & 5 are expressed in lymph node, spleen, bone marrow, 7 small intestine with preponderance of isoform 3

Pathology

• expressed in many lymphoma cell lines
• expressed on hairy cell leukemia cells
• chromosomal duplication dup(1)(q21q32) involving FCRL5 is found in Burkitt lymphoma cell lines with 1q21 abnormalities

Laboratory

• may be useful markers of B-cell stages
