Etiology
Pathology
- benign tumor derived from the outer root sheath epithelium of a hair follicle
- it consist of cells with pale-staining cytoplasm with abundant glycogen[1]
- lobular downgrowth of cells with clear, expanded, faintly glassy cytoplasm[2]
Clinical manifestations
- multiple asymptomatic facial papules (case report)[2]
- flesh-colored papules localized to the central face

Diagnostic procedures
Management
- topical sirolumus, 0.2%, gel daily (maybe 1 year of treatment)[2]
- may be used in combination with erbium-yttrium aluminum garnet laser therapy[2]
