Function
- release of any N-terminal amino acid linked to Pro (including Pro), even from a dipeptide or tripeptide
Inhibition:
- inhibited by apstatin, EDTA & 1,10-phenanthroline
- partially inhibited by dithiothreitol
- Not inhibited by enalaprilat or amastatin
- KM=100.6 uM for bradykinin
- Optimum pH is 8.2
