Introduction
SIRP family members are immunoglobulin superfamily proteins interacting with tyrosine kinases. Members of the SIRP-alpha subfamily have a cytoplasmic SH2-binding domain; members of the SIRP-beta subfamily lack this cytoplasmic tail.
