Introduction
Device for externally draining the bladder made from latex rubber, polyvinyl, or silicone that are secured on the shaft of the penis by some form of adhesive & are connected to urine collecting bags by a tube.
Indications
- men with functional incontinence & without obstructive uropathy
Contraindications
Complications
- catheter-related infection is less than than with indwelling urinary catheters only when there is no unnecessary manipulation[3][4]
- irritation or ulceration
