Introduction
A focal neurologic deficit that resolves fully within 1 week.
Etiology
- reversible ischemic neurologic deficits (RIND) & transient ischemic attacks (TIA) are usually secondary to atherosclerosis of cerebral vessels (cerebrovascular disease)
Complications
-risk factor for subsequent ischemic stroke

- the difference between RIND & TIA is not clear
