Etiology
- suggestive of polymyositis/dermatomyositis
Clinical manifestations
- a rash (poikiloderma) & purpura over the knuckles (dorsum of proximal interphalangeal joints & metacarpophalangeal joints)
- if rubbed, they become papular (Gottron's papules)
