Introduction
Lips infiltrated with non caseating epithelioid granulomas.
Pathology
- lymphedema produces fluid retention & susceptibility to infection
- Candidal or Staphylococcal superinfection may be present
Clinical manifestations
- general lip manifestations
- lips generally enlarged
- nodular lesion may be present
- manifestations associated with sarcoidosis
- manifestations associated with Crohn's disease
- facial nerve paralysis
- fissured tongue
