Introduction

A generalized cutaneous mastocytosis.

Clinical manifestations

  • yellowish, thickened appearance of skin
  • lesions smooth with scattered areas of elevation, resembling leather
  • exaggerated skin folds, especially in axilla & groin
  • large bullae may occur spontaneously or following trauma
  • may present as erythroderma
