Introduction
Aortoiliac vascular insufficiency resulting from chronic occlusive disease below the renal arteries.
Clinical manifestations
- ischemic symptoms in the lower back, hip region, buttocks, thigh & distal extremity
- impotence &/or erectile dysfunction may occur in males
Radiology
- angiography shows atherosclerosis in the abdominal aorta & iliac artery
