Introduction
A term for an antigen that induces an allergic response.
Epidemiology
- allergies in early spring are most likely caused by tree pollen
- allergies in late spring are most likely caused by grass pollen
- allergies in late summer & early fall are most likely caused by weed pollen
- allergies to mold & dander from dogs, cats or other animals is perennial[2]
