Introduction
Results:
- both dual & ventricular pacemakers improved quality of life
- 25% of patients receiving ventricular pacemakers developed pacemaker syndrome & required dual chamber pacing
- dual chamber pacing associated with better quality of life
- no different in mortality
- dual chamber pacing associated with 18% lower incidence of atrial fibrillation
