Introduction
Enlargement of a limb (elephant leg):
Etiology
- filariasis (most common)
- lymphogranuloma venereum
- pretibial myxedema[2]
Pathology
- obstruction of the lymphatics
- hypertrophy, fibrosis & edema of the skin & subcutaneous tissue
- hydrocele
- affects extremities &/or genitalia
