Introduction
The passageway deep to the transverse carpal ligament between the tubercles of the scaphoid & trapezoid bones on the radial side & the pisiform & hook of hamate on the ulnar side.
- median nerve & the flexor tendons of the fingers & thumb pass through this passageway; sometimes results in median nerve compression
