jugular lymphatic trunk (jugular duct)

Introduction

Lymphatic vessel on each side conveying the lymph from the head & neck.

However, in most cases the trunks open independently into the junction of the internal jugular & subclavian veins to form the brachiocephalic veins. In some cases they open into both of these veins.
