- 224 primary care patients with functional dyspepsia
Treatment:
- esomeprazole 40 mg QD vs placebo
Results:
- benefit of esomeprazole at 4 weeks
- 51% vs 34% of patients with relief of symptoms
- no difference between groups at 8 weeks
