Etiology
Pathology
- bending forward increases pressure in the right ventricle of the heart
- dyspnea is due to increased pressure in the right ventricle
- patients with heart failure less likely to tolerate the increased pressure
- dyspnea is due to increased pressure in the right ventricle
Clinical manifestations
- shortness of breath that occurs within 30 seconds when bending forward
