Indications
- for treatment of chronic pain associated with diabetic neuropathy
Procedure
- 2 percutaneous leads are placed epidurally & connected to the pulse generator, & stimulation can be adjusted according to patient feedback
Mechanism of action
- high-frequency spinal cord stimulation (10 kHz, 30 microsecond pulse width delivered via bipole, with an amplitude range of 0.5-3.5 mA)
