Hunter criteria

Indications

• diagnosis of serotonin syndrome

Diagnostic criteria

• must have take serotoninergic agent in the past 5 weeks
• one of the following
  • muscle rigididy & temperature > 100.4 F (38 C) with ocular clonus or inducible clonus
  • ocular clonus with agitation & diaphoresis
  • spontaneous clonus
  • tremor & hyperreflexia
  • hypertonia
