Introduction

An extract of plants, Strychnos toxifera & other species & Chondodendron tomentosum. Alkoloids present in the extract, curarine from Strychnos & tubocurarine from Chondodendron induce non-depolarizing paralysis at the neuromuscular junction after intravenous injection by competitive inhibition of nicotinic receptors.
