3 beagles demonstrated ability to detect non-small cell lung cancer in serum with 90% accuracy
- serum samples were presented to the dogs at nose level
- the dogs sat down to indicate a positive & moved on if negative
the dogs are working to identify lung cance, breast cancer & colorectal cancer in breath samples
