Pathology
- in asymptomatic patients without history of cancer, splenic incidentalomas are invariably benign[1]
- most benign lesions hemangiomas, cysts, hamartomas, lymphangiomas, or granulomas
- patients with constitutional symptoms or left upper quadrant pain may have lymphoma
