Indications
- opioid withdrawal (use for up to 5 days)

Procedure
- small electrical nerve stimulator placed behind the patient's ear
- contains a battery-powered chip that emits electrical pulses to stimulate branches of certain cranial nerves
- electrical pulses flow to ear-fitted needles from an auricular neurostimulator
- device wearable up to 5 days[2]
