• suspected beta-lactam drug allergy in a patient when a beta-lactam would be indicated

Procedure

• performed by trained teams
  • infectious disease specialist & pharmacists
  • exerience in performing the procedure
  • training & experience in emergency allergy care
• labor-intensive procedure, requires ~ 1 hour
