- suspected beta-lactam drug allergy in a patient when a beta-lactam would be indicated
Procedure
- performed by trained teams
- infectious disease specialist & pharmacists
- exerience in performing the procedure
- training & experience in emergency allergy care
- labor-intensive procedure, requires ~ 1 hour
