Procedure
- the nucleus from a donated egg is replaced by the nucleus from a patient's cell
- the egg grows into a blastocyst
- embryonic stem cells are extracted & cultured
- the cultured embryonic stem cells may be introduced into the patient for embryonic stem cell therapy.
