Indications

• evaluation of erythrocyte antibody

Principle

• antibody in the presence of complement is bound to the surface of an erythrocyte
  • complement binds to the Fc region of the antibody

T-cells with a complement receptor are added & the T-cells bind to the complement-antibody complex completing the rosette
