Indications
- Questionnaire for evaluation of osteoarthritis of the knee
Interpretation
- total score: 60
- 0-19: may indicate severe knee arthritis; highly likely some form of surgical intervention indicated
- 20-29: may indicate moderate-severe knee arthritis; knee X-ray; consider a consult with an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
- 30-39: may indicate mild-moderate knee arthritis consider seeing primary care physician, possible x-ray; exercise, weight reduction, &/or anti-inflammatory agent
- 40-48: may indicate satisfactory joint function; may not require treatment
