Indications
- acute right heart failure
Clinical significance
- provides circulatory support for up to 14 days for pediatric or adult patients with acute right heart failure or with decompensation after implantation of an LV assist device, myocardial infarction, heart transplant, or open-heart surgery
- provides up to 4 liters per minute of hemodynamic support
