Drug interactions
- prescribing SSRIs & statins together is generally safe
- lovastatin might be an exception
- compared with SSRI use alone, SSRI plus statin use is associated with fewer psychiatric hospital contacts overall (RR=0.75) or due to depression (RR=0.64)[1]
