L4 radiculopathy

Etiology

• L4 lumbar disc herniation
  • involvement of L3-L4 disc

Pathology

• anterior tibialis compromised

Clinical manifestations

• loss of patellar reflex
• impaired dorsiflexion & inversion of foot at ankle
• altered sensation: medial leg, medial foot, medial aspect of great toe
