Indications
Procedure
- overnight fast (8-12 hours)
- methane in expired gas may be tested in addition to hydrogen in expired gas
- baseline measurement & measurement every 15, 30 or 60 minutes for 2-3 hours after administration of fuctose, glucose, sucrose, lactose or lactulose
