Introduction
Persons who reside in a nursing home are referred to as resident rather than as patients.
Notes
- independent access to outdoor areas may be insufficient to achieve quality of life benefits in nursing home residents (pre-COVID-19)[1]
- staffing structures, organizational attitudes, environmental design, & activities to support nursing home residents may be needed
- statins may diminish mortality in nursing home residents with or without dementia[2]
