Epidemiology
- primarily women
Pathology
- neoplasm may be of apocrine gland or eccrine gland origin
- well-demarcated mid to deep dermal neoplasm composed of solid nodules & small nests of epithelial cells without cytologic atypia or mitoses
- background of rich intratumoral vasculature & hyalinized stroma

Clinical manifestations
- asymptomatic, solitary, well-demarcated nonulcerated nodule[2]
- pink, nodular-lobulated lesion with nonarborizing telangiectasias

Complications
- malignant transformation (rare)[2]
